A theme emerged last year in my family. First it started with me and worked its way all the way down to my niece and nephew. The theme…”My Pillow“.
After seeing the numerous commercials on television I decided to get me a “My Pillow“. The 10-year warranty and the ability to wash and dry the pillow attracted me to it. When I saw the price, I cringed a little but went ahead and got it. The first night was amazing and so comfortable that I felt it was worth it.
I will say it is good to fluff it daily so it stays wonderful every night.
One night my niece came over to stay. She laid on my pillow by accident but fell in love with it. Of course, I kept telling her it is “MY PILLOW”. She would respond, “Yes it’s MY PILLOW”. This went on for many months.
After months of banter every time she came over I got her a “My Pillow“, of course it was for her birthday. She was so happy and has taken that pillow almost everywhere she goes. Although, she complained that her brother and mom (my sister-n-law) kept trying to take her pillow.
Well, my nephew celebrated his birthday a month earlier so his friends could come to a party. The poor things birthday is New Years Day. As the Best Aunt in the World, I got him his own “My Pillow“. His face when he opened it was priceless. All of his little friends talked about how they wanted one or had one.
Then for Christmas, I got my sister-n-law a “My Pillow“. She was so happy. The next day, she called to tell me that she slept so good on it and keeps telling me daily how much better she feels when she wakes up.
I also got me another “My Pillow“. This way when my niece doesn’t have her pillow I have one for her to use. Otherwise, I sleep on both through the night.
We keep saying we are a little “My Pillow” family.
All this pillow talk makes me long for bedtime.
Do you have a “My Pillow“?
