Rain Won’t Ruin My New Year Style

Home » Blog » Rain Won’t Ruin My New Year Style

Well, we were planning a bonfire for this year, but the rain hasn’t quit. Sure I’ll still be wearing the same outfit I planned out, but no bonfire. Instead I’m going to let the New Years Eve guide me.

There have been a few New Years Eves where I have gone out in a beautiful garment, but over the years I’ve been fond of comfortable jeans and a shirt. Instead of celebrating with a few friends and strangers, I enjoy popping fireworks with my niece and nephew and the company of family.

This year I am wearing an outfit from my favorite local boutique, Gabo’s Boutique & Gifts in Diamondhead, MS. I’m wearing my first pair of distressed jeans with a billowy beautiful and fun royal blue shirt adorned with pearls.

Before all the festivities, I am doing a little cleansing to prepare for the new year. Look forward to the post soon.

The picture above of the outfit was taken at Studio 90 Salon in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. Hair by Kesha Saucier, stylist at Studio 90. The picture was taken by Allyson Lapari Photography

What are your New Years Eve plans?
