Skincare Face Routines are Key to Younger Looking Skin

Skincare is an important part of my routine. Since I was a child my grandma has harped on the importance of washing my face but also MOISTURIZING. Throughout my childhood, I washed but didn’t moisturize as much as I should have. Then my senior year of high school I started working at Victoria Secrets and I learned a lot about moisturizing my skin while layering it with fragrance. Sometimes taking two different fragrances to make a new one.

A year later, I would sign up to sell and use Alloette skincare line. Truly, I really wanted to get the product at a discount. The Alloette skincare line was truly remarkable in the early 2000’s. Today I hear the products are not like they use to be.

Anyhow, I would use Alloette throughout the early part of my 20’s. Then I switched to using what I found at Walmart for the latter part of my 20’s.  When I reached 30, I got into Mary Kay and yes, I signed up to sell for the discount again. History repeats itself here. Mary Kay is a great product and I still use their eye-makeup remover today. The Mary Kay eye-makeup remover ($15) is one swipe you get it all, but it also gets rid of lash bugs. Bet you didn’t know you have microscopic lash bugs feeding on them making them less luxurious.

Recently, along with the Mary Kay eye-makeup remover, I have started to use the Tula line of skincare. Tula, I absolutely love your probiotic products. About 2 months ago, I bought the Tula Starter Kit ($52) along with the Kefir Ultimate Recovery Mask ($56) thanks to the recommendation of The Miller Affect and Dani Austin. Two Instagrammers I love to follow.

The kit came with the Purifying Face Cleanser, Pro-Glycolic pH Resurfacing Gel, Illuminating Face Serum, and the Hydrating Day & Night Cream. Using these products, my face is smoother and balanced. I can go without foundation and just wear my One Two Cosmetic magnetic lashes and people can’t tell I don’t have any makeup on. Makeup artists, eyebrow artist, and stylist have remarked how great my skin looks.

Now, I am on the search for a great makeup removing wipe. Currently, I’ve used ones from Walmart, but I plan on trying the ones Tula has on their website.

Truly, I cannot stress how important it is to moisturize your face and body. Currently, I am 37-years old but everyone I meet thinks I’m 24. Now it could be good genetics, but I believe it to be good skincare routines.
