Cozy, Neutral, and Bright Fashion Trends
In the south, the fall season comes a little late and doesn’t last as long. We usually wear layers throughout the season. I’ve been taking note of popular influencers fashion choices, Elle Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and Vogue Magazine fashion features. The trend: cozy and comfortable. Shackets, jeans, vests, oversized blazers, fall floral patterns, poufy sleeves, and boots. The colours featured include plaid, camel, scarlet, lavender, and silver (roaring 20’s inspiration).
Boots are big this season especially colourful crocodile styles, all white, updated beadle, and lug soles.
Sparkling Accessories
Time to sparkle like it’s 1920.
Coloured jewel hair accessories, jewellery, and uniquely designed purses are featured in the style magazines. I was happy to find a jewel-coloured hairpin at Walmart with a few other hairpins for just $1 on clearance.
One of my favourite Mississippi jewellery designer stores for jewel coloured necklaces, bracelets, and earrings are Victoria Lynn. Other notable jewellery companies not in Mississippi like Kendra Scott, and Victoria Emerson. Sparkling purses inspired by the Roaring ’20s is featured across the pages.

Extensions, bronde hair colour, blonde money pieces, and 80’s volume are the styles popping up in magazines and on popular influencers.
